Music Director/Akiyama Kazuyoshi
Akiyama Kazuhiro I would like to express both my congratulations and jubilation on occasion of the completion in front of Kawasaki Station and official opening of MuZA Kawasaki Symphony Hall with its excellent world-class acoustics. My relationship with The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra began back in 1964 when I debuted as the orchestra's conductor. Soon after my debut, I was appointed as a director of music. Over the last forty-years I have walked alongside the orchestra through its bad times, overcoming management crisis as well as the good times. With the opening of MuZA Kawasaki, providing the focal point of the orchestra's performances and rehearsals, on July 1st of this year, The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra will witness a new beginning. It is the greatest honor that the orchestra will be not only performing, but also rehearsing in this truly magnificent hall with its outstanding acoustical effects. I sincerely believe The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra has a brilliant future ahead of it at MuZA Kawasaki, and I hope to try my best in contributing to its further development and evolution.

I was born and raised in Kawasaki, and whenever I return home to Japan, I reside in Kawasaki. I am extremely delighted that this state-of-the-art symphony hall will be built in my own hometown.England, where I reside for half of the year, is home to countless talented and progressive musicians with many years of practical experience. I hope to passionately apply the latest information and trends in music, which I have gained by working alongside these wonderful musicians, within the walls of MuZA Kawasaki. Many speak of MUZA's stunning acoustical effects, but one thing not to forget is that no matter the seat, the audience will be able to experience and feel musical performances up-close and personal. The audience will be able to enjoy such sights as the fingers of the pianist dancing across the keyboard, the facial expression and emotion of the vocalist's face, as well as the close connection between the conductor and orchestra. Through joint collaboration and utilizing the special characteristics of each advisor, I hope to create a space at MuZA Kawasaki that all will enjoy.

Composer and Poety/Ogura Kei
Ogura Kei I would like to express my congratulations to the City of Kawasaki in regard to the creation of a new pantheon, so to speak, for the propagation of the magnificent culture of music. From the standpoint of the Symphony Hall's facilities and its functions, and convenient location next to Kawasaki station, I strongly believe that not only residents of Kawasaki, but those from all parts of Japan and the world will be able to enjoy the high quality music produced here. Staying true to its name, I sincerely hope that everyone will be able to listen to the wonderful classical music performances. I, however, look forward to the fact that MuZA Kawasaki and the City of Kawasaki will be a focal point for the birth of various different types of new music, regardless of genre, in the future.

Jazz Pianist/ Masahiro Sayama
Sayama Masahiro As a fan of music, I have high expectations for MuZA Kawasaki, starting with its opening performance of Gustav Mahler's work. I intend to visit frequently and not pass up the opportunity to listen to the highly motivated and passionate musical performers that plan to perform in this grand hall. In order to intertwine together the various elements; including taste, affinity, and timing, etc, concerts experience truly brilliant times, yet also not so brilliant times. However, there is no doubt in my mind that when one watches, listens, and experiences a musical performance live, it is one of the most special and meaningful events in a person's life. Every musician wants to improve a performance in even the slightest and unnoticeable ways. MuZA Kawasaki will invite only these musicians who can present subtle aspects to all audiences. Therefore, please give us your trust and peace of mind and visit MuZA Kawasaki to witness first hand the entertaining performances and wonderful atmosphere. I humbly and openly welcome even the strictest of opinions and comments regarding MuZA Kawasaki.

Organist/Matsui Naomi
Matsui Naomi Congratulations on the opening of the MuZA Kawasaki Symphony Hall! This truly magnificent hall and its stage, surrounded on all sides by the audience, will be equipped with a large 71 Stops Organ made by Orgelbau TH Kuhn. As the organ of a symphony hall and as the organ of the 21st century, I look forward to the new possibility and potential this instrument, with its charm and long, storied history, can bring in the future. The last twenty years have witnessed the introduction of various types of pipe organs throughout music halls in the Tokyo Metropolitan area and all over Japan. Organs are constructed specifically for the location and audience, which leads to the creation of an almost magical space like no other; such a space in itself forms a musical instrument. In this sense, I also think for those in Japan the last twenty years has been a period of getting to know the unique and charm of the organ, no two are alike. I hope that you will grow to love the one and only organ at MuZA Kawasaki Symphony Hall, and I dream that this new instrument will be able to connect many audiences, organists, and pipe organs together through its unique and beautiful sound.
