MUZA represents our hope that many people from around the world will gather here and communicate with one another using music as a common language. Our hope by maintaining our city identity as "Kawasaki, the City of Music"will permeate the world with this concert hall as the source.
The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra

The opening concert at MUZA Kawasaki Symphony Hall on July 1, 2004, was performed by The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, with which Kawasaki City has made a franchise agreement. The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra was established in 1946.
Led by Hubert Soudant, Music Director, this orchestra is well-known for its long tradition of high quality performances both in Japan and abroad. In addition to their concerts, Kawasaki looks forward to a wide range of musical activities by The Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, such as joint concerts and music workshops for children, as a first step to becoming"Kawasaki, the City of Music".
