Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall holds “Musa’s Day” every year on July 1, the opening day anniversary. We have many fun events and concerts prepared with cooperation from companies and organizations connected with Kawasaki. Please be sure to stop by with your family!

Kawasaki Colored Hoop Connecting

“Kawasaki Origami” is an event that connects 20 paper strips and arranges them in a line to make a big work of art. The hoops connected together at Muza will be displayed as part of the art of the Tama River riverbed

The only one picture theater in the world using large pictures about the size of a tatami mat (similar to a wooden jigsaw puzzle).

In addition to demonstrations by a chef to make omelet rice, beef curry, croissant sandwiches, etc., you can enjoy fluffy pancakes with topped with plenty of whipped cream made by a pastry chef in front of you.

Details: Participants can experience writing a signboard by hand (lettering) Select your favorite character and draw it using a brush and poster coloring!

Capacity: 50 persons (elementary school students and older)
Duration: approximately 15 minutes
Participation method: On the day of the event, numbered tickets will be distributed at the venue.

Kawasaki Origami Workshop!

Participation fee: 100 yen (reservation not necessary)
Kawasaki Origami is certified as a “Kawasaki special product” and is original origami for which 20 colors from regional resources such as nature, history, industry, etc. in Kawasaki City are selected. Let’s enjoy origami while learning about the region!

Wrap around and decorate (Create a photograph stand or wall hanging)

Participation fee: 500 yen (reservation not necessary)
Let’s roll paper around a mount and decorate it cutely! Once you understand the key points, anyone can easily do it; even parents and children can enjoy doing it together. Why not try creating an original work?

Let’s make various paintings and make it an original tumbler!

Participation fee: 700 yen (reservation not necessary)
The picture that you draw will be inserted into a tumbler. What colors can you create by mixing colors? What kind of impression will they make when combined? Participants will enjoyably learn about the list of colors from a professional.

Optional Event at Kawasaki DICE

Location: Special site, 1F Kawasaki Dice
Title: Create a unique transparent jiggly gel candle
Details: Select from various kinds of materials such as glasswork and color sand, and create a unique gel candle!
Participation fee: 1,640 yen (tax included)
Creation takes approximately 20 minutes
*The candle will be ready approximately 40 minutes after creation.
